So I'm like the lamest blogger EVERR haha I've just been SO SO busy with school, finals, WORK, CHRISTMAS! It's CRAZYY. But I thought I'd blog real quick since i'm such a slacker! (or at least that's what Miss Kourtney is making me look like :P ) But anyways life has been crazy! I came home last Thursday after all my finals and the next morning went down to Florence where we had our Christmas party with my mom's side and I was down there until Sunday (which btw I got to hear Elder Oaks speak in Michelle's stake conference! So Amazing!!) And Sunday night I came back down to Gilbert and somehow by the time I went to bed I had PINK EYE! YUK! I figured it was the norm pink eye I get.. which is the non-contageous kind and it's basically just pink and doesn't itch and only lasts for like a day or two. But unfortunately that's not what i had. I had MAJOR pink eye! I woke up Monday morning with my eye the size of a ping pong! I looked like Bee when that mosquito bit her by her eye at Grandma and Grandpa Norton's house that one summer. So my dad took me to the docs and seriously I didn't want ANYONE to see me with my huge eye. (Not to mention the no makeup and my hair was a huge mess!) But the doc gave me meds so I was happy for that (oh she gave me a flippin shot too which HURT! UGH!) Anyways the swelling wasn't as bad when I went to bed that night but when I woke up Tuesday it was just as bad as the morning before! (Oh forgot to mention ALL the kids cept Joce had stomach flu Monday so we were all lazy bums ha) Yeah so I was suppose to work on Tues but that so didn't happen. I had to call in sick and Brian and Traci weren't there yet but Patti was and luckily she had already warned them that I might not be coming in. Yeah so by Wednesday all the swelling was gone but it was still pink and occasionally irritated but it was good enough to go SHOPPING! WOOT! ha. Grandma Rosie took me shopping for Christmas (and you know what stinks about that? Getting cute stuff and then having to WAIT! UGH. But hey.. Christmas is in 5 days! WOOT WOOT!) (haha everytime I say woot woot I think of Ry... "Party over here! WOOT WOOT!" haha that kid cracks me up :) So anyways I found some way cute stuff and jeans (which I desperately needed!) and then we got Starbucks (speaking of which I'm like DEPRIEVED here and I hate it! Sb is too far. haha... I guess it's not like I don't have a car to go get some... more like I never have time!) Anywhosers.. We then went to Kohls with mom and the girls (oh day and jake were there too haha) and I found some more cute clothes that I don't get until Christmas again.. haha. And then Thurs, Fri, and Sat all I did was WORK! Lame. Everyone is always like well you need the money and don't hate work cuz of the money! Well you know what. I could seriously care less. I hate working SO much! I feel like I never have time to spend with my fam or friends and honestly I think that is SO much more important than making/having money! And here's a newsflash: You can have fun WITHOUT spending or having money (I know this totally goes against.. well.. me. haha but seriously?) K.. sry. I'm just a little upset.. I feel like my work owns me or something. Here's my life: I wake up, get ready for work, go to work, work 8-9 hrs, come home, AND EVERYONE IS ASLEEP!!!!!!!!! AH! It's annoying. I never get to see anyone and I miss my fam still from school and they're leaving to China and my mom says: Oh you should ask to work everyday! Like HECK NO! I'm getting ready to tell Traci that I'm done and won't be working in January at all! Sheesh. BLEHH Anyways work has been SUPER busy obv.. I kind of like it better during Christmas tho. We're always so busy that time flies by like SUPER fast so it really doesn't feel like i'm there for 8 hours. K anyways enough about me complaing about work. haha. So I'm super excited! Christmas is SO close!! It's like my favorite day of the year (ha.. obv.. i'm the oldest of five kids and I'M the first one up on Christmas. haha) K Well I think that's about as far as my life is going right now... Work, Work, and oh yeahh... More work! I work everyday this week (8-9 hrs) except Christmas Eve and Christmas! Totally should've just not worked this break. I need a BREAK not... Work? K... Steph I hope this makes you happy! :P Btw... do you mind getting online sometime?? I need to talk to you woman! ha. Miss you! kk that's it... I am going to go read my book that I bought Just for christmas.. in fact I was hoping to have it read by Christmas.. but it's like 300+ pages.. so highly doubt that'll happen. haha. Night!
